Job Description
Quality Assurance & Testing is one of Endava's core disciplines. Our QA Automation teams design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to ensure the highest quality of the software solutions we deliver. We work closely with development, business analysis, and project management teams, being problem-solvers with a strong client-oriented mindset.

This is a full-time, permanent hybrid role, requiring 2–3 days per week of work from our office in Brasov.

As a QA Automation Engineer at Endava, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining automated tests for web applications, APIs, and back-end components using at least one of the following technologies:

Java, JavaScript, Python, or .NET.
- Analysing requirements and defining both automated and manual test scenarios.
- Participating in code reviews for test scripts.
- Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitoring execution results.
- Collaborating closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Participating in daily meetings and maintaining regular communication with the client via email, calls, and sync-ups.

Qualifications

• At least 0.5 years of experience with at least one of the following is mandatory:

Java (version 17+), Python (version 3+), JavaScript / TypeScript (version 2020+), .Net (version 4+)
- A good understanding of fundamental programming concepts as OOP principles within a micro-services landscape is a plus;
- A good understanding of Selenium / Playwright / Cypress with TestNg, NUnit, JUnit, Mocha, PyTest or equivalent is nice to have;
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) is desirable;
- Knowledge of Web protocols and technologies, RESTful Web services is essential;
- Experience with source code versioning systems (Perforce, Git, SVN) is a plus;
- A good understanding of either SQL & NoSQL databases is desirable;
- Solid understanding along with analytical and assertive approach of the complete product development cycle within an Agile/Scrum environment is essential;
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker, Spring and Spring Boot is a plus;
- Good verbal and written English is mandatory.
