Get to Know the Team

You'll be part of the GrabMaps product team, a group of product managers, engineers, data scientists, and designers building world-class mapping solutions that power Grab's superapp and external partners. We work on products like AI-driven maps, Places, traffic and routing that power services experienced by millions of Grab consumers and B2B partners. You'll report to the Head of Product for Map Making and Commercialisation, working with cross-functional leaders across engineering, operations, and business development.

Get to Know the Role

As a Lead Product Manager for AI Map Making, you will shape the future of how maps are built and scaled using automation, AI, and crowdsourced data. Your role is to define vision and strategy, drive execution, and launch impactful products that reduce map production costs, increase data freshness, and unlock new business opportunities. This is a highly visible role requiring leadership, technical depth, and the influence across teams and geographies.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

You will:

• Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on market research, customer feedback, and goals.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with our goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with a broad project team, including engineering, design, data science and go-to-market, to ensure successful product development and launches.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Develop and manage budgets for product development and launch programs.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• 5+ years of experience in product management, with experience launching successful products.
• Experience with Agile product development and lean startup principles.
• Experience with product management tools, such as Jira and is a user of AI productivity tools.
• Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience and vice-versa.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics or related field.
