Job Description
As a Field Application Engineer (FAE) at Infineon, you will take a leading role in developing and implementing modern electronic systems for the automotive industry. Acting as the first technical point of contact for key automotive customers across Europe, you'll collaborate on creating and optimizing digital sub-system solutions using Infineon's comprehensive automotive portfolio. Join our dynamic European FAE Team to work on cutting-edge automotive applications, delivering innovative concepts and solutions that will define the mobility of tomorrow.

In your new role you will:

• Contribute to the development of modern electronic systems and their implementation in the innovative automotive market
• Be the first level technical contact for our key automotive customers in Europe, with a focus on digital sub-systems based on all Infineon products in automotive applications
• Provide expert technical guidance and support for customer product designs and platforms
• Work proactively on digital sub-system solutions for our customer's applications together with the entire European FAE Team, the Account Managers, the product experts and the different business lines
• Be the expert for Infineon product solutions in automotive applications, support our customers in their system design phase and during the evaluation of our products
• Discuss innovative solution and application approaches with our customer development teams and collaborate with our design teams and concept engineering to drive optimized and new product solutions and technologies
• Validate the application on-site together with the customer
• Prepare and execute customer presentations and product / application training

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Information Technology, or similar fields
• Gained experiences in the semiconductor and automotive industries
• Specific knowledge in digital products and sub-systems in automotive applications
• Strong drive, pro-active and autonomous behavior, as well as analytical capabilities and very complex situation solving
• Openness for regular business travels in Romania and other European destinations from time to time
• Fluent Romanian and English communication skills
