The Mission

Data is one of the foundations of ING's strategy to become one digital bank, where we need more

granular data of high quality to manage the bank wide (customer-)processes, modelling and decision making.

Data Operations is the place to eecute our data strategy and optimize the data operations

within ING. Together, we are raising the data management capabilities to the net level.

As a member of the Data Operations organization, you will contribute greatly to operationalize ING's

data strategy and fulfill our data promises.

With an increased appetite for consuming data and regulatory pressure to demonstrate data quality

coverage we need to maintain high standards in Data Quality. Global Data Quality function is

responsible for operationalizing ING Data Quality strategy, translating into services and eecuting

globally in order to ensure we maintain those high standards for ING data. As a Data Quality Epert in the Global Data Quality team, you will be part of Data Operations and will be key in delivering our

promise of "ensuring data quality" for ING across the globe. This position provides a broad insight across the global ING organization and requires someone who combines common sense, curiosity and maturity with ecellent judgment, discretion, and integrity.

The ideal candidate is a self-directed eecutor who helps orchestrate progress effectively in front of

Your day to day

Establish and oversee the end-to-end data quality journey covering all four data quality phases

(design, implement, monitor, improve) within specific domains (e.g., Finance/Risk/KYC/Global

HR/WB)

• Support the Product Owner of the data quality product portfolio you are responsible for, following the set priorities and backlog.
• Work closely with data owners, data users and IT stakeholders to ensure handshakes and gather

their data quality requirements and specifications for new data quality controls and dashboards,

translating them into data quality rules.

• Create data quality reports, translate data requirements into data quality rules and perform root-

cause analysis of data quality issues.

• Define, implement, and continuously enhance the end-to-end data quality operating and service

model across data domains.

• Drive remediation of data Quality issues and perform ongoing monitoring, providing advice on

data quality related problems in order to reach SLA timelines and lower meantime to repair.

• Contribute to the implementation of data quality controls in line with ING's data management

process control standards. Contribute to the implementation of DQ tooling for monitoring and dashboard solutions to showcase the value derived from our data operations services to senior management.

• Provide an improved Data Operations client eperience within your specific domain and in-scope

countries.
