Overall tasks:

  • Lead financial controlling for our Romania entity, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of reporting.
  • preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Monitor and analyze variances, providing management with clear recommendations.
  • Work closely with plant leadership teams to provide financial transparency and drive cost efficiency (with focus on cost-price methodology)
  • Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Provide scenario analysis and investment case evaluations for business decisions.
  • Local compliance with tax, audit, and statutory requirements
  • Develop and implement best practices in financial processes and reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives at our plants to optimize costs and margins.
  • Implement and standardize controlling tools, KPIs, and dashboards.

Profile:

  • Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of progressive finance or controlling experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Track record managing multi-country financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting/tax requirements (preferable also internationally)
  • Excellent analytical skills, business acumen, and ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Easy adapter of ERP knowledge (knowledge of SAP is a plus)
