Who we are looking for

Deloitte Grants & Incentives - is committed to top quality professional services in the area of EU funds and state aid schemes. We have extensive experience on both ends of the EU funds policy cycle, having assisted both the European Commission and the national managing authorities of various member states, as well as the final beneficiaries.

• University Degree; other professional certifications would be a plus.
• Previous experience in/with EU funded projects (minimum 5 years).
• Knowledge of public procurement and the process of bidding.
• Knowledge of the Romanian accounting.
• Consulting fundamentals including strategic problem solving, analytics and excel modelling, structured written and visual communication.
• Numeracy and very good financial skills.
• Able to work in an environment where accuracy and attention to detail is essential at all times.
• Able to work to firm deadlines and assess when tasks are urgent.
• Ability to take full responsibility for completion and quality of own workload.
• Strong communication, prioritization and inter-personal skills.
• High level of proficiency of using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficient, written and reading, in Romanian and English.
• Commitment and dedication.

Your future role

As a senior consultant, you would typically work on engagements for government or private clients and would be responsible for delivery of project work streams. This entails assisting in planning or structuring of project approach/analysis, developing professional opinions and insights, develop high-quality deliverables, peer-level client relationships and support project managing teams.

• Be responsible for developing an understanding of the Deloitte approach, methodology & tools and apply them while performing the tasks assigned.
• Monitor the non-reimbursable funds programs.
• Prepare work files and analyses supporting various applications with donors and public institutions.
• Prepare specific documentation for accessing grants (prepare business plans, (pre)feasibility studies, cost-benefits analyses, financing requests).
• Assist the managers in documentations for accessing non-reimbursable financing, presentations or reports for clients by summarizing the analyses, the proposed solutions and recommendations.
• Participate in marketing campaigns for promoting non-reimbursable funds programs.
• Participate in client meetings with managers or directors.
  Get involved in the bid management processes by contributing to new business proposals.
