The Data Analytics Team Leader leads the development of scalable data pipelines and platforms, ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and accessible for analytics and reporting. This role combines hands-on development/engineering with team leadership, setting technical direction, leading/mentoring developers, and aligning data solutions with business needs to drive informed decision-making.

What you will do:

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, scalable data pipelines and architectures to support analytics and reporting.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering best practices in data visualization, coding, testing, and documentation. (This role combines hands on development with team leadership)
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and security across all data platforms
  • Collaborate with analysts and other business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Set technical direction for dataviz projects which enable data driven insights balancing and complexity.
  • Optimize performance and scalability of data systems to meet business growth.
  • Drive automation and standardization in data workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure timely and correct communication of business metrics

What will make you successful:

  • Proven ability to deliver and optimize reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI.
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience leading and mentoring technical teams while remaining hands-on in development. Teamwork and coordination are key skills for our team.
  • Proficiency in DAX, SQL, Python, R and Power Platform.
  • Analytical mindset –break down complex data problems into structured solutions.
  • Business-oriented thinker – understands the impact of data solutions on business goals and decision making.
