Type of work: Fixed Term Contract
Duration: 1 year
Mode of Work: Hybrid - 3 days onsite in a week
Location: Timisoara, Romania
Experience: 3-6 years
Languages Required: German - B2 or more, English - Fluent
Working Hours: Business Hours with 24*7 on-call support (minimum 1 week a month)
Job Description
General requirements (must have):
• NOC/SOC experience with good understanding of specific SLAs and KPIs
• Network monitoring tools
• Ticketing tools
• Understanding of general networking concepts at CCNA/CCNP level
• Understanding of service provider architecture/infrastructure
• English C1-C2
• German B2
• Self-reliant and w/ Ability to learn fast
Specific requirements (nice to have):
• Linux
• Experience with FTTx and xDSL (VDSL, Vectoring) networks
• Optical networks/WDM - access, transport
• Generic understanding of MPLS/IP
• Nokia SR, Nokia OLT, Nokia DSLAM
• AAA, FW
• Microwave technology - preferred Ceragon
• TCP/IP stack + protocols: Ethernet, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, L2-L3 VPN
• Network automation (w/ bash/python)
Job description
Daily activity consists of:
• Diagnosis of all minor, major and critical alarms
• Creating and resolving incident tickets considering SLAs
• Fault management and Troubleshooting
• Planning, Creating and implementing change requests/tickets
• Support for on-site technician - troubleshooting, repairing, replacing - network elements & infrastructure elements
• Network performance monitoring and reporting
• Integration network elements
• Configuration network elements and services
• Creating and maintaining documentation
