We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Accounting/Finance & HR Officer, who will assist our Finance & HR Manager in various accounting and administration issues.
Key Accountabilities:
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices, perform reconciliations.
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
- Make the final review of expenses and payroll records.
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
- Participate in the preparation of monthly/yearly reports and closings.
- Organize and maintain personnel records.
- Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance.
- Update internal databases (e.g., record sick or maternity leave).
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and manuals for new hires.
- Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates).
- Answer employees 'queries about HR-related issues.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g., leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules).
- Schedule in-house and external events.
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of 3 year working experience in a similar role
- Experience of working around competing deadlines and managing multiple requests, tasks and priorities
- Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures
- Knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Teamwork
- Advanced in English language
