What you'll do
As a Business Analyst and Tools Evangelist as part of the global SAP Signavio Revenue Operations Organization you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. You will provide comprehensive analysis and decision support for planning, strategic initiatives as well as the rhythm of business, across all SAP Signavio CS functions. This role is critical in creating a unified data reporting structure and supporting strategic initiatives through advanced analytics and business intelligence while at the same time evangelizing SAPs' tools and systems to ensure everyone in the organization is looking at one standardized set of data.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Ensure the availability and provision of relevant revenue, pipeline, and forecast reports and dashboards to management.
- Perform detailed analysis of bookings, forecast rollups, pipeline, post-sales KPIs and business trends.
- Create and maintain complex spreadsheets and SAC dashboards, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests and prioritize tasks against competing demands.
- Strategic Support:
- Collaborate closely with global and regional stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.
- Assist Executive management with specific report and dashboard requests to support strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Support the establishment of sales process rigor and drive actionable reporting cadence.
- Facilitate and assist with the SAP Signavio Rhythm of business (RoB aka business review cadence).
- Perform data preparation and analysis to support senior management in making data-driven decisions.
- System/ tool and dashboard enablement:
- Be an evangelist for SAP's tools as well as dashboards, help drive the SAP Signavio Digitization motion.
- Enable stakeholders on how to use SAP's reporting dashboards.
What you'll bring
Expectations:
- Technical Proficiency:
- Highly proficient in the full suite of MS applications (Excel, SharePoint, potentially even PowerBI), with advanced Excel skills (Pivots, Lookup's, Macros).
- Experience with financial modelling and analytical tools such as Excel and databases.
- Optional: Knowledge of Python for data analytics or background in data science.
- Ideally SAC Dashboard building capabilities.
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong understanding of SAP's GTM methodology and sales processes.
- Comfortable manipulating large and disparate datasets to generate concise insights.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication and Organizational Skills:
- Great communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of organizational levels, cultures, and personalities.
- Fluent in written and verbal English; additional language skills are preferred.
- German is a plus.
- Educational Background:
- Minimum a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management/Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Professional Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience in Business Operations, Financial Analysis, or a similar role.
- Experience working in the international market and within the software industry.
- Experience in program planning and project management.
- Additional Skills:
- Strong technical ability to automate reports and processes.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage conflicting priorities, and complete assignments under aggressive time constraints independently.
- General understanding of sales systems and relevant processes and practices.
- A proactive attitude, analytical mindset, and a keen attention to detail.
- Flexibility and ability to adjust to new demands with a sense of urgency.
