Exciting Leadership Opportunity | General Manager – ISSA Resort

We are proud to partner with ISSA Resort, one of Romania's most distinctive hospitality destinations in Turda, Cluj , to recruit a visionary General Manager.

The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation and the day-to-day management of the resort while at the same time being accountable for planning ahead and growing the business to maximize profitability.

The General Manager drives improvements in financial performance by creating and driving a clear vision, directing strategies and setting financial targets in key areas of the business, including operations, HR, finance, sales and marketing. 

The General Manager is responsible for the P&L of the resort and oversees daily operations.

The role of the General Manager is to plan and supervise the activities of an extensive and diverse workforce, to ensure the smooth and profitable running of the business.

The General Manager is a strong and professional business leader, ensuring that resort team members work as a well-functioning team; is an effective team leader and an excellent team player who can set example and foster a climate of collaboration.

The General Manager operates the resort in a manner that represents the concept standards and exceeds guest expectations. Responsible for actively communicating and executing the company strategies, the GM leads with passion, inspires staff and motivates the management team to promote quality and uphold standards in all areas

Direct Reports: Director(s) of Operations, HR, Finance, Sales & Marketing. 

Works closely with: All other Heads of Department including Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Rooms, Director of Revenue, Front Office Manager, Executive Chef, and Director of Engineering.

External Relationships: Networking and building relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, contractors, travel agents, embassies, relevant market players as well as key industry bodies and associations.
