  • Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in TandD primary circuit design and project management, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Microstation).
  • Strong understanding of primary circuit design principles, including substation design, overhead lines, and underground cables.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Experience with high-voltage primary circuit projects.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, AS).
  • Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Here is what you will do:

Project Leadership:

  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the design and execution of primary circuit projects.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project success.

Design and Engineering:

  • Oversee the development of primary circuit designs, including substation layouts, overhead lines, and underground cables.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to optimize primary circuit designs for efficiency and reliability.

System Analysis and Optimization:

  • Perform power system studies, such as load flow analysis, fault analysis, and protection coordination studies, identify opportunities for system improvements and efficiency enhancements.

Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in primary circuit design and engineering.

Field Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide on-site support during construction, commissioning, and maintenance activities in case is required.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, project reports, and status updates.
