We are seeking a High Voltage Transmission Lines Engineer to join our team in Romania. The T&D Transmission Lines Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and maintenance of transmission lines within the transmission and distribution network. This role involves ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of transmission line operations through innovative engineering solutions and adherence to industry standards.

Job Description

Here is what you will do:

Design and Engineering:

• Develop detailed designs for new transmission lines and modifications to existing lines.
• Perform structural and electrical analysis to ensure transmission line stability and performance.

Project Management:

• Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of transmission line projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project completion and prepare cost estimates, project budgets, and resource allocation plans.

System Analysis and Optimization:

• Conduct planning and analysis studies for transmission lines.
• Identify and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency and reliability of transmission systems.
• Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or modifications as needed.

Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure all designs and projects comply with industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NESC), company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Field Support and Inspection:

• Provide technical support during the construction and commissioning of transmission lines.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards, address and resolve field issues related to transmission line installations.

Qualifications

Here's what we're looking for:

• Education:
  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  4+ years of experience in transmission line design, analysis, or construction.
• Skills:
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong understanding of electrical and structural principles related to transmission lines.

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in engineering software tools (e.g., PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, PowerWorld).
