About The Role
We are seeking an experienced System Architect with a proven track record in transformational projects, specifically in client onboarding and compliance processes within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will lead the design and delivery of scalable, compliant, and future-proof solutions, aligning technology architecture with business, regulatory, and operational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Architecture Leadership: Define and own the end-to-end systems architecture for onboarding, KYC/AML, and other compliance processes.
• Transformation Delivery: Drive the redesign of legacy compliance systems into modern, integrated platforms that enhance efficiency, automation, and regulatory adherence.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with compliance, operations, product, and IT teams to capture business requirements and translate them into architectural blueprints.
• Technology Integration: Evaluate, select, and integrate third-party RegTech/KYC vendors and internal systems, ensuring seamless data flows.
• Regulatory Alignment: Ensure architectural designs comply with applicable regulations.
• Scalability & Performance: Design solutions that handle high volumes of transactions and adapt to evolving business needs.
• Documentation: Produce comprehensive architecture diagrams, data flow maps, and technical specifications.
• Governance & Security: Implement best practices in system security, data protection, and change management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a System Architect or Enterprise Architect in financial services, preferably with compliance and onboarding transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of KYC, AML, CDD/EDD, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring processes.
• Expertise in integrating RegTech solutions, workflow automation, and case management platforms.
• Experience in API-driven architectures, microservices, and cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure).
• Strong understanding of data security, GDPR, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Track record of delivering complex transformation projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
