Role Description:
Do you have a passion for Engineering and want to make a difference, working for one of the biggest companies in the world and a critical player in the financial industry? We in the Analytics team are proud to provide a set of web services for the analysis and pricing of financial instruments as part of the LSEG Financial Analytics platform

• You will integrate a team of about twenty financial and software engineers and will develop, improve and support our quantitative analytics offering on the Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with senior colleagues to craft development algorithms supporting financial industry specific workflows
• Develop tools and applications, reviewing code submitted by peers and producing clean, efficient code
• Integrate software components, quantitative libraries, models and third-party programmes
• Verify and deploy programmes and systems
• Write documentation for reference, reporting and system maintenance.
• Support clients and colleagues in integrating, debugging, solving and upgrading our analytics services.

Candidate Profile / Key Skills:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronics / Electrical Engineering
• Good knowledge of C# or equivalent
• 5 years+ experience in a quantitative or software development role applied to finance with significant knowledge of at least one financial instrument.
