We are looking for a
Tax Manager
to oversee the company's tax function and drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across our financial operations. If you have strong tax expertise and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, we'd love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the operational activities of the department, ensuring efficiency and continuously improving workflows to meet established objectives;
  • Supervise and coordinate the company's tax activities, ensuring full compliance with applicable tax legislation;
  • Develop, update, and communicate internal procedures and guidelines for applying tax regulations;
  • Provide tax and accounting advisory support to the Finance & Accounting sub-departments and other company departments;
  • Manage the relationship with external auditors and provide financial–accounting support as needed;
  • Oversee the process of obtaining tax authorizations and the fiscal registration of new business locations;
  • Contribute to projects and action plans aimed at improving tax and financial processes, including the implementation of new systems;
  • Calculate deferred income tax in accordance with IAS and internal instructions, and ensure accurate reporting to the Group;
  • Analyze company expenses and revenues from a tax perspective and propose tax optimization measures;
  • Monitor legislative changes, ensure the continuous update of official databases and legislation tools, and inform relevant departments;
  • Review contracts with external service providers and determine the correct tax treatment;
  • Review financial statements and tax reports prepared for the local Board of Directors and for the Group;
  • Review and ensure accuracy in tax calculations, tax returns, and other required declarations.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Romanian tax legislation;
  • Proven experience in tax compliance, tax audits, and interaction with fiscal authorities;
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting;
  • Experience working with external auditors and cross-functional teams;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax matters;
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and a structured approach to managing deadlines;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate tax concepts into clear business recommendations.
