We are seeking an experienced
Operational Testing Specialist (OAT)
to establish and coordinate the operational testing framework.

This key role will focus on ensuring that all environments, systems, and processes meet operational readiness standards before go-live. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of QA, system testing, and coordination expertise, with hands-on experience in OAT activities.

You will work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and release management teams to define, implement, and oversee operational testing and validation processes that ensure stable, secure, and performant releases.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Define and implement the end-to-end Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) process.
  • Coordinate and execute system-level and environment readiness tests prior to deployment.
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to validate configuration, monitoring, backup, and failover readiness.
  • Develop and maintain OAT plans, scripts, and acceptance criteria aligned with release schedules.
  • Ensure that key operational controls and procedures are validated before production release.
  • Track and report OAT progress, issues, and readiness status to stakeholders.
  • Drive improvements in testing efficiency, repeatability, and cross-team coordination.
  • Promote best practices for operational quality, reliability, and system resilience.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES DO I NEED?

  • Proven experience in Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT), QA, or System Testing in enterprise or large-scale delivery environments.
  • Strong understanding of release readiness, deployment validation, and environment testing processes.
  • Experience working with mobile or web applications in development and pre-production environments.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with test documentation, tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), and defect management.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process improvement.
  • Experience in the finance or banking sector is considered a strong advantage.
