Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our team and help bring the PGL events to life. You will be part of our existing team of editors and be responsible for creating content and various video assets for our events taking place in PGL Studios or outside the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit or update broadcast elements such as bumpers or transitions

  • Create and edit esports broadcast specific content such as match highlights, recaps, event trailers, player interviews, etc

  • Operate computer editing systems and equipment used for video media and effects

  • Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video creation

  • Improve video and sound quality using various video software

  • Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project

  • Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to various specifications

  • Integrating sponsored branding in different video materials based on the sponsor brand guidelines

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • A positive and problem-solving attitude

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English

  • Attention to details

  • Teamwork skills

  • Professional mastery of video and audio editing software and programs

  • Ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously

  • Creative experience in filmmaking and videography

  • Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project and the ability to bring them to life

  • Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music, and transitions

  • Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects

  • Excellent communication skills in order to have a solid understanding of certain project scope and implementation

  • Flexibility to travel abroad for events and work varying hours, including nights or weekends.

  • Passion for video games & esports is a plus

  • Advance knowledge regarding at least one of the following titles - Dota 2, CS: GO, Fifa 20, Apex Legends, Gears 5 is a plus
