What You Will Be Doing

• Utilize your deep expertise in education products to inform strategic decision-making
• Create technical specifications that prioritize simplicity, efficiency, and long-term sustainability
• Integrate generative AI technologies to enhance and automate engineering processes, aligning with our vision to minimize manual efforts

What You Won't Be Doing

• Engaging in pure people management; your role will require both business insight and technical acumen
• Spending time in unnecessary meetings or administrative tasks; management overhead is automated so you can focus on value creation through hands-on work
• Offering high-level strategies without actionable implementation plans; your insights should be rooted in product-level understanding

Lead Product Architect Key Responsibilities

• Take on the role of CTO for one or more educational products, owning core competencies, and driving business value through effective execution and strategic insight

Basic Requirements

• Profound experience and interest in data-driven learning science
• Over 7 years of experience in making critical architecture and design decisions in software projects, including the application of architecture design patterns or significant open-source technologies
• More than 2 years of experience in making design decisions involving cloud computing services, particularly AWS
• At least 4 years of experience in roles with full technical and delivery ownership of a revenue-generating product
• Experience in developing product features that leverage Generative AI
• Proficiency in using Generative AI to streamline work processes

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
