What You Will Be Doing

• Architect and execute enterprise-scale infrastructure transformations, orchestrating seamless migrations from fragmented legacy systems to unified AWS cloud environments
• Design intelligent monitoring ecosystems and build AI-powered automation that predicts and prevents issues before they impact business operations
• Lead strategic database consolidation initiatives, optimizing performance and costs while maintaining zero-downtime operations across multiple database engines
• Engineer scalable infrastructure solutions that support rapid business growth and acquisition integration

Cloud Architect Key Responsibilities
Drive enterprise-wide infrastructure reliability and cost optimization by architecting unified AWS solutions that transform fragmented systems into a cohesive, scalable platform supporting accelerated business growth.

Basic Requirements

• Proven AWS architecture expertise with enterprise-scale implementations (other cloud platforms don't substitute for deep AWS mastery)
• Advanced programming proficiency in Python or JavaScript for infrastructure automation and custom tooling development
• Demonstrated success managing complex database migrations across multiple engines (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS-SQL)
• Expert-level containerization skills with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
• Deep Linux systems administration and performance optimization expertise

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
