Country Sales Manager, Romania

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Country Sales Manager to lead our commercial operations in Romania. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring strong market presence in line with the company's business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the country's sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including distribution, retail, and key account partnerships.
Build, manage, and motivate a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of sales performance.
Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to support brand positioning and market expansion.
Ensure compliance with all local laws and corporate policies.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's preferred).
Sales management experience, preferably in FMCG, industrial, or B2B sectors.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of the Romanian market, distribution channels, and customer behaviors.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Romanian and English; additional languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel across Romania and occasionally internationally.
