Country Manager for Romania
— someone who will take full ownership of the Romanian market and become its "mini-CEO". Your mission: elevate Brainmarket's position in Romania to an entirely new level.

Strategic Market Leadership

  • Own revenue growth, KPI delivery, and brand development in the Romanian market.
  • Build and execute market entry and growth strategies.
  • Monitor trends, competitors, consumer behavior, and pricing strategy.

Marketing & Commercial Execution

  • Plan and evaluate online campaigns (PPC, influencers, content) together with our marketing team.
  • Work with purchasing on sales analysis, product lifecycle management, and assortment expansion.
  • Propose actions to boost revenue, campaign performance, and product portfolio.
  • Manage external marketing agencies and partners.
  • Plan promotions, seasonal campaigns, and the promotional calendar for Romania.
  • Build cooperation with brands, influencers, and media.
  • Identify and manage strategic B2B partners.

Operational Ownership

  • Ensure flawless localization of the e-shop, product pages, and customer processes.
  • Oversee the RO market team (junior expansion manager).
  • Participate in hiring for the RO team.
  • Coordinate content, pricing, and merchandising for the Romanian market.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Propose and monitor logistics SLAs.

Partnerships & Representation

  • Represent Brainmarket at events and trade fairs.
  • Acquire and develop key B2B/B2C partners (retailers, marketplaces, specialized e-shops).

Reporting & Data

  • Regularly report market results.
  • Analyze data (GA4 and other tools) and propose performance improvements.
  • Make independent, data-driven decisions and lead projects end-to-end.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years in a similar role (country manager, market lead, e-commerce manager).
  • Experience in e-commerce is essential.
  • Ability to evaluate performance data and propose concrete actions.
  • Strong independence, initiative, and ownership mindset.
  • Knowledge of the Romanian market (ideally e-commerce).
  • Hands-on experience with the EMAG marketplace or other is a strong plus.
  • Native-level Romanian
  • English at a communicative level B2 - C1
