Senior React Native Engineer – Remote, Contract B2B

We're looking for a
Senior React Native Engineer
to join a fast-growing startup reinventing how people experience video entertainment. You'll work on cutting-edge, mobile-first applications at the intersection of AI, video streaming, and high-scale user experiences.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and optimize client's React Native app (iOS/Android).
  • Build scalable, high-performance video experiences (feeds, streaming, subtitles, offline, player customization).
  • mplement advanced UI/UX flows optimized for vertical video and TikTok-style engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with backend, AI, and product teams to ship features that impact millions of users. Ensure code quality, testing, performance, and reliability across devices and networks

What we're looking for:

  • Must - 5+ years of professional experience in mobile development, with at least 3 years in React Native.
  • Track record in B2C, gaming, or e-learning apps at high scale.
  • Strong expertise in one or more of the following: mobile streaming, video/real-time/social/TikTok-style UX patterns.
  • Deep understanding of performance optimization, animations, offline caching, and adaptive streaming (HLS/DASH).
  • Familiarity with native modules (iOS & Android) and integrating 3rd-party SDKs.
  • Solid CS fundamentals: architecture, state management, concurrency, testing, CI/CD
  • Experience with streaming platforms.

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to data-driven personalization, recommendation systems,
  • micro-segmentation, or content pipelines.
  • Past work on apps with subscription/coin/ad monetization models.
  • Experience in building things from the ground up.
