The Role

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Squad Team Swimming Coach to lead and develop our competitive swimmers. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a positive coaching style, and the ability to inspire swimmers to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging squad training sessions in line with the club's development framework.
  • Provide stroke correction, race strategy, and performance feedback.
  • Support swimmers at competitions, including warm-ups, race analysis, and motivation.
  • Collaborate with other coaches to ensure consistency and progression across squads.
  • Foster a positive, disciplined, and inclusive team culture.
  • Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and club management.
  • Requirements
  • Minimum [ASCTA / USA Swimming / Swim England] Coaching Accreditation (or equivalent).
  • Current CPR, First Aid, and Working with Children / Safeguarding certification.
  • Proven experience coaching competitive-level swimmers.
  • Strong knowledge of swimming techniques, training principles, and competition preparation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for athlete development and continuous improvement.
