We are very pleased to open a
Chief Accountant
in a dynamic team, for one of our clients

Specifically, you will be required to:

  • Coordinate and supervise all accounting activities, including AP, AR, GL, and fixed assets.
  • Ensure compliance with Romanian accounting standards and tax legislation.
  • Prepare and submit all statutory reports.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes; prepare financial statements.
  • Oversee cash-flow management and support financial forecasting.
  • Provide accurate financial analysis and reports to management for decision-making.
  • Coordinate external and internal audits and ensure timely implementation of recommendations.
  • Monitor and optimize accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team.
  • Collaborate with operational teams on transportation/logistics-specific costs (fuel, fleet management, customs duties, warehouse operations).

What should you bring in:

Accounting and analytical abilities;

Academy of Economic Studies graduate, preferably Finance/Accounting;

Advanced level of Excel knowledge.

CECCAR membership (expert accountant) – a strong plus

Knowledge of ERP/accounting systems; familiarity with
GITS
