Chief of Staff

As Deepstash continues its expansion into new markets and products, we're searching for an
exceptional Chief of Staff

to serve as the strategic right hand to our entire leadership team.

Think Hamilton to Washington's command during the Independence War.

It's a position of profound strategic importance. You'll be the central nervous system of our leadership, ensuring that vision translates into execution, that chaos becomes clarity, and that our team operates at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Operations & Compliance

• Build and maintain comprehensive documentation workflows that keep us audit-ready and government-inquiry-proof
• Identify documentation needs proactively and ensure we have the paper trail to justify every operational decision
• Maintain strong working relationships with our accounting and legal teams for seamless collaboration

Financial Oversight

• Serve as the informal budget manager, maintaining real-time visibility into account balances, payments, and financial commitments
• Manage relationships with investors and capital providers, handling monthly and quarterly reporting
• Oversee all payments, bank transfers, and financial operations
• Source and evaluate new service providers across all business functions
• Be the go-to person for any money-related questions from the leadership team

Talent & Culture

• Partner with recruiting firms to manage candidate flow and screen for culture fit
• Act as the first line of defense, ensuring leadership only interviews candidates who align with our values and mission
• Plan and coordinate team events that strengthen our culture and foster collaboration

Office & Operations

• Implement and maintain effective filing systems to ensure data organization and accessibility

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a chief of staff, strategic operations, or similar high-level coordination role
• Exceptionally organized mind with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with accounting principles and ability to understand financial statements
• Understanding of legal terminology and contract basics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (fluency required due to our global operations)
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities with diplomacy and efficiency
