Bucharest, Bucureşti, Romania GRAITEC GROUP Full time €70,000 - €120,000 per year

Overview

The Product Specialist is responsible for shaping, validating, and continuously improving the product. Acting as the bridge between product strategy, technical execution, and customer needs, this role combines requirement definition, workflow analysis, and hands-on validation to ensure high-quality, reliable solutions.

As part of the product team, the Product Specialist collaborates closely with Product Management and Engineering to refine requirements, validate features, and maintain high product standards. This position plays a critical role throughout the product lifecycle — from analyzing customer needs, documenting requirements, and prioritizing features, to validating deliverables, testing integrations, and ensuring smooth product launches.

This role specifically supports our
DataConnect product
— a solution that helps AEC organizations synchronize project and financial data seamlessly across disconnected business systems. By integrating systems, DataConnect improves data reliability and workflow efficiency, unlocking better coordination between field operations, back-office tools, and cloud platforms.

DataConnect consists of three main modules:

  • ERP SYNC:
Synchronizing project financial data between Autodesk Build, Autodesk Cost Management, and ERP/accounting systems (e.g., CMIC, Viewpoint Vista, SAGE 100/300, Foundation, QuickBooks, Viewpoint Spectrum).
  • FILE SYNC:
Synchronizing project files between external cloud storage systems and internal systems for secure backup and protection (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Procore, SharePoint, OneDrive, Windows).
  • INTEGRATION SERVICES:
Providing custom digital transformation services and system migration support.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, hands-on experience with cloud-based solutions (Microsoft Azure, Power Automate), and a passion for ensuring quality through validation, testing, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to define and refine requirements, epics, and user stories.
  • Translate strategic priorities into clear specifications and acceptance criteria that guide development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, internal teams, and pilot customers to gather input and refine solutions.

Quality Assurance & Validation

  • Actively participate in feature validation, debugging, and end-to-end testing to ensure solutions meet business and technical needs.
  • Define and execute validation/test scenarios for ERP and cloud integrations.
  • Monitor quality metrics, document defects, and work with engineering to resolve issues quickly.
  • Support regression testing and continuous validation throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Maintain a strong focus on usability and reliability, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Analysis & Documentation

  • Analyze workflows and system integrations to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Document functional and technical specifications, test cases, and validation outcomes.
  • Create training materials, technical guides, and walkthroughs for internal and external teams.

Collaboration & Enablement

  • Participate in roadmap discussions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, providing QA insights and recommendations.
  • Support sales enablement and pre-sales efforts by sharing product knowledge and technical input.
  • Ensure deliverables align with broader organizational and R&D goals.

Success Indicators / KPIs

  • High quality and reliability of delivered features validated before release.
  • Clear, detailed, and accurate documentation aligned with end-user needs.
  • On-time delivery of product enhancements and integrations.
  • High customer satisfaction with product performance and usability.
  • Effective contribution to internal team collaboration and continuous improvement.

What You Must Have Done Already

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud-based software solutions, automation platforms (Microsoft Azure, Power Automate), or ERP systems.
  • Proven experience in testing and validating complex software solutions, with strong attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, APIs, and automation workflows within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Previous experience in quality assurance, business analysis, or solution validation.

What Is Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of ERP systems used in the construction industry.
  • Exposure to construction technologies (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud) and their integration with business systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong technical background with a focus on cloud-based platforms and system integrations.
  • Certification in Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, or similar technologies (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working within Agile teams.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international environment across different time zones.
