  • 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in a partnership-oriented role.
  • Experience in sales and implementation of Cloud infrastructure as a service.
  • Knowledge of product and solution market trends in the Public Cloud industry.
About the job:

As a Partner Engineer, you will help grow the Cloud business by building and expanding relationships with partners. In this role, you will be an advisor to partners and an advocate for data privacy solutions, providing support to Executive, Analyst, and Engineering teams at partner companies. You will accompany partners as they design joint solutions and bring them to market.

Responsibilities:
  • Build a technical Go-To-Market with technical Enablement supporting your Google Cloud Partners. Direct communication to enable partners to work towards goals. Prepare and deliver product messaging to highlight Google Cloud Platform value proposition.
  • Work with Google Cloud Partners leadership to identify, qualify, and prioritize joint market opportunities. Participate in periodic business plan review meetings providing insight into how to secure technical wins on prospects.
  • Contribute to the governance and development of Google Cloud Practices within Global System integrators and Independent Software Vendors. Develop hiring strategies and up-skilling plans.
  • Develop relationships, act as a trusted advisor to the leadership in our partners ensuring adoption in business cycles. Operate with team and business leadership. Develop the regional technical strategy and drive consistent execution.
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
