
Junior Key Account Manager

Reporting to the Senior Key Account Manager, this individual will contribute to the execution of sell-in and sell-out strategies, support promotional planning, manage retail analytics, and assist in driving operational and financial performance across designated retail accounts.
The ideal candidate has experience working with selective European beauty retailers, a strong commercial mindset, and an ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment and execution of the brand's retail strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Inventory Management
- Assist in the development and execution of account-specific sales plans, aligning with the company's revenue and growth objectives.
- Collaborate with retailer buying and planning teams to support order flow, new product forecasts, and stock management.
- Communicate updates on launches, stock availability, pricing, and allocations to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor newness orders and replenishment volumes, ensuring retailer accuracy and timely execution.
- Liaise with Supply Chain to address stock issues, RTV processing, and shipment timing to meet sell-in targets.
- Support the tracking and achievement of retail sales targets and KPIs by market and by door.
- Participate in the administration and reconciliation of sales and trade budgets and promotional investment tracking.
- Assist in the development of tailored promotional activities to drive sell-through and support brand visibility.
- Proactively identify opportunities at the store and regional level to optimize sales performance and address risks.
- Consolidate and report weekly and monthly sales performance by account, tracking sell-in/sell-out, productivity, and door rankings.
- Assist in preparing monthly business reviews and sell-through analysis to inform account strategy.
- Support financial planning with basic forecasting, gap analysis, and promotional ROI tracking.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and VM teams to coordinate fixture updates, assortment changes, and in-store visuals.
- Support the execution of account-specific trade marketing campaigns, ensuring delivery of assets, GWP rollouts, and promotional setup.
- Assist in adapting global brand activations into retailer-appropriate formats for online and offline channels.
- Help optimize product lifecycle by monitoring discontinued SKU sell-through and proposing tailored trade levers.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure the timely submission of product forms, assets, samples, and price files.
- Contribute to the preparation of account presentations, market meeting decks, and business performance updates.
- Identify opportunities to improve tools, processes, and ways of working that support team efficiency and account growth.
- 2–4 years of experience in account management, commercial roles, or retail coordination, preferably in cosmetics and beauty.
- Proven experience working with European selective beauty retailers is required.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen with comfort managing data and sales reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience supporting retail trade execution, marketing campaigns, or sales forecasting is a plus.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage).
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, collaborative, and international environment.
