Work Schedule:
Business Hours + 24/7 On-Call Support (min. 1 week/month)

About the Role

We are looking for a
Level 2 Backoffice Engineer
with strong
NOC/SOC experience
and solid
networking knowledge (CCNA/CCNP level)
. This is a hands-on role requiring expertise in
fault management, network monitoring, troubleshooting, and change management
, along with
German (B1+) and English (C1–C2)
language proficiency.

General Requirements (Must-Have)

  • NOC/SOC experience with knowledge of
    SLAs and KPIs
  • Proficiency with
    network monitoring tools
    and
    ticketing tools
  • Strong understanding of
    networking concepts (CCNA/CCNP level)
  • Knowledge of
    service provider architecture and infrastructure
  • English C1–C2
    ,
    German B2 (minimum B1 required)
  • Self-reliant, fast learner, with excellent troubleshooting skills

Specific Requirements (Nice-to-Have)

  • Linux administration
  • Experience with
    FTTx and xDSL (VDSL, Vectoring)
    networks
  • Knowledge of
    Optical networks/WDM (access, transport)
  • Understanding of
    MPLS/IP
  • Familiarity with
    Nokia SR, Nokia OLT, Nokia DSLAM
  • Experience with
    AAA, Firewalls
  • Microwave technology (Ceragon preferred)
  • Knowledge of
    TCP/IP protocols (Ethernet, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, L2-L3 VPN)
  • Network automation
    (bash, Python)

Daily Activities

  • Diagnose and resolve
    minor, major, and critical alarms
  • Create and resolve
    incident tickets
    in line with SLAs
  • Perform
    fault management and troubleshooting
  • Plan, create, and implement
    change requests
  • Support on-site technicians with
    troubleshooting and repairs
  • Conduct
    network performance monitoring and reporting
  • Integrate and configure
    network elements and services
  • Create and maintain
    technical documentation
