Job Description

Main objective of the job:

• Develop Data Pipelines: Design and operate automated ETL/ELT workflows using Azure tools to process and deliver data.
• Manage the Data Platform: Provision, secure, and optimize the underlying Azure infrastructure for our data solutions.

Main attributions and responsibilities:

• Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines using Azure services like Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Write and debug scripts in Python or Scala for data processing and automation tasks.
• Help manage and configure cloud resources, ensuring they are efficient and secure.
• Learn and apply best practices for cloud security, including managing access and secrets.
• Collaborate with senior team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize data workflows.
• Document your work and the solutions you help build.
• Fulfils any other tasks related to area of responsibility, as requested by direct superior.

Qualifications

Studies:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field
• English B2/C1, proficiency (fluent)

Knowledge and Skills:

• Solid knowledge of a programming language, preferably in Python. Should be comfortable with core concepts like data structures, control flow, and functions.
• Knowledge in one of the Database languages (MSSQL, Oracle, etc.), can write queries to retrieve and manipulate data
• Knowledgeable about Cloud Computing concepts. Any personal projects or certifications (like AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals) are a big plus.
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve challenges efficiently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Engage in feedback culture and foster team spirit through transparent communication.
