Job Description

We are seeking a
Junior Data Engineer
with hands-on experience in
Azure data services
and a strong interest in cloud-based data engineering. In this role, you'll collaborate with senior engineers to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions using Azure technologies, Python, and modern orchestration tools.

You will contribute to the migration and modernization of enterprise measurement data flows into the Azure cloud, helping build scalable, automated, and secure data platforms that power smarter analytics and business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines
  using
  Azure Data Factory
  ,
  Azure Databricks
  , and
  Azure Synapse Analytics
  .
• Develop and optimize
  ETL/ELT workflows
  in
  Python
  , ensuring data quality, scalability, and performance.
• Work with
  Azure Blob Storage
  and
  Data Lake Storage
  , managing data ingestion, partitioning, lifecycle policies, and access control.
• Implement and manage
  Azure Key Vault
  for secure secrets and credential handling.
• Support
  workflow orchestration and data integration
  using tools such as
  Apache Airflow
  or
  Kafka
  .
• Apply best practices in
  Azure architecture, security, and cost management
  .
• Collaborate with international teams on data platform projects, following agile methodologies.
• Document solutions, processes, and technical decisions to support knowledge sharing and operational excellence.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For (Required Skills):

• Azure Data Services:
  Practical experience with Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Blob Storage, and Key Vault.
• Python for Data Engineering:
  Strong proficiency in Python, including data processing, ETL, and integration workflows.
• Data Orchestration Tools:
  Exposure to Airflow, Kafka, or similar technologies for data pipeline automation.
• SQL Skills:
  Ability to write complex queries and transformations for analytical and operational data sets.
• Azure Cloud Fundamentals:
  Understanding of Azure resource management, networking, and security principles.
• Security Awareness:
  Familiarity with authentication, RBAC, and secure data handling practices in the cloud.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Adaptability in working on multiple projects within a dynamic, evolving environment.
• Proactive and detail-oriented, with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
• Curiosity about emerging data engineering practices and a desire to build cloud-native solutions.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Not mandatory, but great if you have them):

• Exposure to
