Senior Financial Planning Analyst

An exciting opportunity to join our client's team at a leading urban-focused media broadcaster known for its innovative approach and trusted content. We are looking for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join this organization.

Main objectives

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, analyze costs, revenues, and performance indicators, develop cost optimization strategies, provide strategic support for organizational decisions, and implement effective processes aligned with the company's financial and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Synthetic and detailed analysis of costs, revenues, performance indicators and complex reporting
• Ensures the necessary information is obtained from departments for timely preparation of financial reports and analyses
• Develops complex financial reports including forecasts,budgets, benchmarking and performance indicators
• Conducts advanced analysis, identifying trends and opportunities for efficiency
• Designs and implements cost optimization strategies
• Coordinates and implements strategies to optimize costs, investments, and operational indicators
• Provides advanced financial advice to executives and teams
• Ensures departmental budgets align with overall financial objectives
• Maintains communication with business areas to ensure compliance with procedures and strategies
• Analyzes and reports on P&L, Cash, Balance Sheet, and other financial reports
• Analyzes and approves procurement orders
• Performs advanced financial analysis for strategic projects
• Tests and implements new financial systems and instruments
• Creates standardized procedures for automating financial reporting
• Actively contributes to team priorities and promotes initiatives for collaboration

Requirements

• Advanced leadership capabilities, ability to work as the primary contact point between multiple departments for strategic projects
• In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, expertise in developing complex financial models and detailed long-term forecasts &budgets
• Ability to actively contribute to defining the financial strategies of the company and aligning them with the general business objectives
• Advanced presentation and influence skills, ability to deliver top management or board presentations
• Advanced use of financial software and ERP, including integration of financial systems to optimize processes and efficiency
• Ability to manage complex and multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring compliance with deadlines
• Relevant financial certifications such as CFA, ACCA, or equivalent
• Very good knowledge of the Romanian financial-accounting system and US GAAP
• Focus on solutions and long-term impact
