Please note that this role is available on CIM or B2B (PFA/SRL), long term, and requires 2 days on site: Bucharest.

Responsibilities:

Define, design, and execute functional and automation test scenarios.

Perform
API testing (REST/SOAP)
with
Postman, Smartbear ReadyAPI, and SoapUI
.

Test
API microservices, middleware modules, and service integrations
.

Validate
frontend web applications (Angular)
and
mobile applications (Android & iOS)
.

Build and maintain
automated test frameworks
with
Selenium, Appium, and Playwright
.

Work with
SQL databases
to prepare and validate test data.

Collaborate in an
Agile Scrum
setup with developers, business analysts, and product owners.

Document results, track issues in
Jira/Confluence
, and support defect resolution.

Use
Kibana and ELK stack
for log monitoring and troubleshooting.

Ensure test coverage for
banking software specifics
(administration, processes, products).

Tools / Software Knowledge & Competencies:

Minimum
6+ years of experience
in software testing, with strong automation expertise.

Solid experience in
Selenium, Appium, and Playwright
(mandatory).

Strong knowledge of
API testing
(REST/SOAP) with tools such as
Postman, ReadyAPI, SoapUI
.

Good understanding of
microservices architecture and middleware testing
.

Experience with
Angular-based web
and
mobile apps (Android & iOS)
.

Technical knowledge of
Jira, Confluence, SQL, Kibana, ELK
.

Domain knowledge in
banking software
(administration, processes, products).

Familiarity with
Agile Scrum methodology
.

Good command of
English
(spoken & written).

Education & Soft Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Detail-oriented and proactive, with the ability to identify risks early.

Capable of mentoring and supporting less experienced QA colleagues.
