Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Automation Testing Analyst to join our team on a large-scale banking project. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing automated test strategies across web, mobile, and API platforms, ensuring the stability and performance of critical financial systems. You will work closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders in an

Agile environment, helping to maintain high-quality standards across complex banking products and services. This role requires strong expertise in tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and a deep understanding of banking processes, microservices, and API integrations.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases for web (Angular), mobile (Android & iOS), and API (REST/SOAP) applications.
• Execute functional, integration, and regression tests to ensure the reliability of banking systems and services.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, ReadyAPI, and SoapUI, with a focus on validating microservices and middleware integrations.
• Analyze requirements and user stories to define comprehensive and effective test scenarios.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in Agile Scrum teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
• Write and run complex SQL queries for backend validation and data consistency checks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot test execution results, logging and tracking defects using Jira.
• Leverage tools like Kibana and the ELK stack for debugging and analyzing system logs during test execution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to optimize test processes and automation frameworks.
• Ensure thorough documentation of test plans, test results, and automation scripts in Confluence and other collaboration platforms.

Qualifications

Who You Are

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years in software quality assurance and test automation within complex systems.
• Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, and Playwright for web and mobile automation.
• API Testing: Strong proficiency in testing REST and SOAP APIs using tools such as Postman, ReadyAPI, and SoapUI.
• Architecture Knowledge: Solid understanding of microservices architecture and middleware components.
• Frontend & Mobile: Experience testing web applications built with Angular, as well as mobile apps on Android and iOS platforms.
• Testing & Collaboration Tools: Proficient in using Jira, Confluence, SQL for data validation, and Kibana,ELK stack for log analysis and monitoring.
• Agile Experience: Proven ability to work effectively in Agile Scrum teams, participating in sprints, reviews, and planning sessions.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and a structured approach to testing.

• Comfortable working with banking and financial systems, with a good understanding of core banking processes, day-to-day operations, and financial products.
• Great at clearly sharing ideas in English, whether you're chatting with tech experts or teammates from other areas.
