We are looking for a skilled
SAP HANA Cloud Data Modeler
to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with SAP HANA Cloud native development and a strong understanding of SAP ERP data structures. This role involves close collaboration with finance and supply chain stakeholders to deliver high-performance, scalable data models.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and develop efficient and scalable data models in SAP HANA Cloud using Calculation Views and SQLScript
  • Collaborate with finance and supply chain teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Optimize models for performance, security, and reusability
  • Ensure models are well-documented, version-controlled, and aligned with best practices
  • Work with functional consultants to validate data accuracy and business relevance

Required skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in SAP HANA native development or SAP HANA Cloud
  • Strong expertise in Calculation Views, SQLScript, Table Functions, Stored Procedures, and scheduler jobs
  • Solid understanding of SAP ERP data structures in areas such as production planning, material management, sales & distribution, plant maintenance, and financial planning
  • Familiarity with data modeling principles, performance optimization, and analytic privileges
  • Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and SAP HANA Database Explorer
  • Proficiency in Git-based version control tools (e.g., Bitbucket)
  • Experience with automated deployment pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in Agile Scrum teams

Nice to have:

  • Experience with CDS Views
  • Knowledge of Cloud Application Programming (CAP) and OData services
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 development
  • Experience creating infolinks and reports in Tibco Spotfire
  • Exposure to SDI/SDA for data replication or virtualization
  • Experience with S/4HANA migration projects
