We're on the hunt for an experienced CEE Operational Finance Controller who will act as a business partner to the Sales, Service & OF Cluster Teams, by providing analysis, consultancy and accounting/tax/financial/strategic support and engagement as well as ensuring compliance to
Elekta's Internal Control Framework. A successful candidate will be responsible for consolidating the Territory monthly and quarterly financial reports and compiling any Territory business performance input to the Cluster Management Team (including Dashboards and Scorecards) ensuring quality in the daily operations and statutory financial reporting as well as identifying and driving key business process improvements within the business unit.
What You'll Do At Elekta
As a trusted Business Partner of the CEE Cluster Finance Team, you will provide support to CEE Business Controller and operational/commercial Team to build a high-performance Controlling team by developing a pro-active strategic business partnering organization.
The CEE Operational Finance Controller responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Preparation/participation in Business Reviews within Cluster.
- Improve the financial knowledge and understanding across the Cluster by providing training and education as appropriate.
- Drive the long-term planning, budget and forecasting processes across the Cluster countries
- Timely and relevant financial analysis to understand the drivers of business performance and to support decision making.
- Provide pertinent pricing analysis and develop commercial collaboration to improve pricing across the Cluster through constructive challenging business partnering.
- Provide margin analysis and follow up on deviations vs RAM (Revenue Allocation Model)
- Support margin reviews during budget and forecast submission.
- Control accuracy & performance of monthly reported numbers, participate in SASM/MEC/Sign-off Meetings.
- Drive alignment and continuous improvement of financial processes in the Cluster in collaboration with the Group & EBS to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Financial reporting for assigned legal entities in group accounting system to ensure completeness,
- clarity of information is maintained and timeliness of submissions.
- Financially responsible towards tender submissions and customer finance solutions for the legal entities.
- Financial analysis / credit checks of customers & distributors where applicable
- Responsible for RAM's (project revenue allocation model) and project control (timely rev rec, margin analysis, manage timely cost recording, etc) in relevant legal entities.
- Organize and manage LCs in relevant legal entity and ensure timely presentation of documents to collect under the LC if applicable. Work collaboratively with Group Treasury.
- Ensure compliance with local reporting requirements for the legal entities if applicable.
- Organize and oversee effective cash collection for the Cluster and in coordination with the Cluster strategy and targets.
- Ensure all relevant internal controls as per the Elekta RACM are performed adequately and consistently across the Cluster legal entities falling into the designated responsibility scope.
- Accounting: Coordinate efficiency and accuracy of financial statements for the legal entities within the CEE Territory with EBS Support. Ensure Compliance with local requirements for VAT, IntraStat, CIT & Taxesfor the CEE Territory legal entities by EBS.
- Statutory: Oversee, coordinate & ensure timely completion of annual audit and local financial statements' certification through efficient EBS leverage. Drive financial compliance within the CEE Cluster.
- Ensure process excellence and consistency across the reporting entity within the Cluster, utilizing EBS wherever appropriate
- Improve project accounting processes, control and tools across all functions within the Territory
- Align Management reporting by adhering to the Cluster standards based on the REU & Group Standards
- Ensure smooth introduction and implementation of new accounting principles (e.g. IFRS 15)
- Drive Pricing improvement and margin accretion across the CEE Cluster.
- Responsible for consolidating the Territory monthly and quarterly financial reports and compiling any Territory business performance input to the Cluster Management Team (including Dashboards and Scorecards)

What You'll Bring
- Degree in Finance/Business administration
- Extensive experience in Business Control and Accounting
- Preferably prior knowledge of the Medtech industry
- Excellent communication and customer management skills
- Proven People Management experience and effective team player
- Self-motivated and flexible
- Ability to travel as required
