We are looking for a motivated and analytical
Product Controller
to join our Finance team in
Bucharest
, supporting our operations in the
Danube Region
. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate reporting and analysis of daily
Profit & Loss (P&L)
and
Risk
for our
Commodities Trading Desk
. This is a key finance role that acts as a bridge between the
Front Office
,
Financial Control
,
Market Risk
, and wider support teams.

You will play an integral part in implementing controls, improving reporting processes, and delivering valuable insights to senior management. Key Responsibilities

Review and prepare daily P&L and Risk reports; validate and understand daily P&L movements

·      Assist in implementing new controls and processes to improve efficiency and align with global product control standards

·      Deliver weekly/monthly P&L commentaries, explaining performance relative to risk and market drivers

·      Investigate and resolve P&L discrepancies in partnership with Financial Control, including FX reviews and MTD ledger breaks

·      Collaborate with the Front Office and support functions to implement controls and support new business initiatives

·      Ensure timely resolution of control and reporting issues by coordinating with key stakeholders across the business

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

·      Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or a related field

·      Minimum 2 years of previous experience in Agri business

·      English spoken and written

·      Familiarity with daily P&L preparation and month-end close processes

·      Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent

·      Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and control-oriented thinking

·      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
