Co-Packing Manager

As Co-packing Manager, you will lead and oversee all co-packing activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, to the highest quality, and in line with client requirements. You'll coordinate between internal teams and external partners, driving efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Success in this role means:

• Delivering accurate and efficient co-packing operations.
• Maintaining strong collaboration with clients and suppliers.

• Identifying opportunities to optimize processes and reduce waste.

This role is key to Hopi Logistics' value-added services, helping clients streamline their supply chains and deliver better results to their customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and oversee all co-packing operations to meet client requirements and deadlines.
• Manage production schedules, resources, and team performance to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal departments (warehousing, procurement, quality, logistics) and external suppliers.
• Monitor and enforce quality standards, health & safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Track costs, control budgets, and report on KPIs to ensure profitability of co-packing projects.
• Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
• Train, mentor, and develop staff to enhance skills and performance in line with company standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
• Proven experience (5+ years) in co-packing, contract packaging, or supply chain operations, preferably within logistics or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, warehousing processes, and packaging technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate cross-functional projects.
• Solid understanding of quality standards, health & safety regulations, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/WMS systems (SAP experience is an asset).
• Excellent communication skills in English (Czech or other Central European languages are a plus).
• Results-oriented, adaptable, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
