Service Procurement Specialist

Main Purpose of Position:

To handle service procurement requests, primarily for Romania and other countries as needed (based on demand)

Key Responsibilities of Position:

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with reliable suppliers.
  • Obtain competitive quotes and bids.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best value.
  • Work closely with finance,sales, operations, and project teams to meet procurement needs.
  • Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts.
  • Stay updated on market trends, new products, and industry developments.
  • Conduct benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Min. 3 years' experience in the telco industry
  • Managing the procurement of various third party services (managed leased lines, dark fiber,Ethernet, DIA, IP transit).
  • Managing supplier/third-party payments
  • Managing the PO/SAP process
  • Maintaining databases related to the procurement activities
  • Maintaining Türk Telekom International's list prices reflecting the latest market changes
  • Purchasing and cost management of international data services for corporate and wholesale clients.
  • Negotiations with suppliers to reduce costs and to achieve a competitive cost base.
  • Support sales in selling international data services (pricing, international market background information).
  • Management of supplier contracts
  • Computer knowledge
  • Knowledge of SAP and CRM , MS Office .
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in an international environment
  • High level communication skills
  • Ability to work closely with Finace department
