American Greetings is seeking a talented and motivated SAP FICO Consultant to join our growing team. As a mid-level consultant, you will play a key role in the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) modules for our diverse client base. You will leverage your strong understanding of financial accounting principles and SAP FICO functionalities to deliver effective solutions, collaborate with clients, and contribute to successful project outcomes.

Typical activity may include working closely with Cross Functional IT Peers and Finance Business Partners in understanding business priorities, gathering requirements, designing solutions, configuring, and working with AG Application Maintenance and Support team to complete objectives.  

The individual will also provide Support efforts towards IT process and administrative improvement opportunities; and assist in resolving break/fix incidents.

The role is for a determined period of 2 years.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in all phases of SAP FICO implementation projects, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications within the SAP FICO modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis).

• Configure and customize the SAP FICO system to meet documented business requirements.

• Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.

• Collaborate effectively with other SAP module consultants (e.g., SD, MM, PP) and technical teams (e.g., ABAP developers, Basis administrators).

• Contribute to the development of best practices and methodologies for SAP FICO implementations.

• Analyze business/technical requirements and translate process into practice through the current SAP application functionality

• Understand non-SAP business systems and their interaction with SAP. Assist in the management of those systems as part of a Financial Systems management portfolio

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

·     Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

· years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO implementation and support projects and/or Business User experience is also nice to have.

• Strong functional knowledge of core SAP FICO modules (at least 2-3 of the following):

General Ledger (FI-GL)

Accounts Payable (FI-AP)

Accounts Receivable (FI-AR)

Asset Accounting (FI-AA)

Controlling (CO) - including Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA), Profit Center Accounting (CO-PCA), Internal Orders (CO-IO)

Product Costing (CO-PC) (desirable)

Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) (desirable).

·      Experience with integration points between FICO and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP)

·      Nice To have :

o   SAP BPC (Business Process Consolidations), SAP FSCM modules (Credit , collections, Dispute managements)

o  Working understanding of Third party tools Black line, High Radius, Vertex etc

• Proven experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into SAP FICO solutions.
• Proficiency in creating functional specifications, test scripts, and user documentation.

·      Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

·      Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·      Fluency in English.
