The Mission

Being a global company having in the strategy the delivery of a global platform for all customers, ING puts a lot of attention on the security processes and requirements. Following a strict set of security rules and processes, ING ensures that all platforms, user access procedures and security related tasks are in line with the security minimum standards.

The Payments & Workflow Solutions area is responsible for E2E delivery of payments and core banking applications for our customers in more than 20 countries from all over the world.

MCE (Manual Channel Engine) is a manual initiation channel designed for Wholesale Banking clients, providing business services to 20 international ING branches, including those in London, Vienna, Madrid, Bucharest, Sofia, Prague, Paris, Geneva, Dublin, Bratislava, Amsterdam, Budapest, Rome, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Manila, Singapore, Beijing and Shanghai.

MCE supports a variety of products, capturing payments that originate from clients or internal transactions for purposes such as commissions, purchases, reconciliations on internal accounts, corrections, and more.

You will join a mature and high-performing team at ING Tech Romania, focused on the MCE Project. This team has medium to long-term goals of delivering significant and interesting features, such as structuring addresses in payment messages and onboarding new payment flows.

Your Day-to-Day:

Even if you'll start your day from the comfort of your home or drink your morning coffee in our office's garden, your day will be quite similar when comes to tasks. Here are your daily responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
• Gather, document and validate functional and non-functional requirements
  Analyze e- isting processes and systems to identify areas for improvement
• Create process maps, documentation of business requirements and impact assessments for proposed solutions
• Collaborate with developers, testers, product managers and project managers to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Conduct user Acceptance testing and support training efforts as needed
• Monitor implemented solutions to ensure they meet desired business outcomes
• Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations and documentation
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts.
• Provide 3rd line support for production incidents

What you bring to the team:

Must have:

• Eperience in Business Analysis (minimum 3 years)
• Understanding and eperience in Payments ISO20022
• Eperience in working with Microsoft SQL databases and reporting solutions
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving thinking
  Ability to articulate comple- ideas clearly and succinctly ensuring messages are understood with minimal ambiguity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on delivering information efficiently and effectively
  E- cellent communication skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Capable of summarizing key insights, requirements, and action points without unnecessary detail
• Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities and respond effectively in dynamic environments
• Open for feedback and willingness to integrate the feedback received
• Focus on quality and attention to detail
  E- perience with full-service delivery lifecycle in software development
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Nice to have:

Understanding of U

• /UI design principles
  Work e- perience in banking field
• Certification in Business Analysis

Foreign languages:English (advanced)

Education: Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in an IT related field
