Senior Project Manager

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with 5+ years of experience in Agile project delivery (Scrum preferred), in a software outsourcing or multi-client environment. You will be responsible for ensuring project delivery within scope, time, and budget, while implementing Scrum, leading ceremonies, and guiding the team toward best practices and tools.

What would be great to have:

• 5+ years of proven experience in Agile project delivery (Scrum preferred) in a software development environment — ideally in an outsourcing or multi-client context;
• Full understanding of the software development lifecycle, tech stacks, and project management principles for both mobile and web products;
• Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with cross-functional teams (Design, Development, QA);
• Strong ability to communicate roadmaps, priorities, and decisions clearly across teams and executive stakeholders;
• Experience with client-facing delivery, including managing scope, evolving priorities, and stakeholder expectations;
• Ability to discuss technical trade-offs with developers and translate technical implications for non-technical audiences;
• Experience defining acceptance criteria and collaborating with QA teams to ensure coverage and quality;
• Proven experience with product delivery in the IoT space (wearables, smart home devices, or connected products) is a major plus;
• A solid understanding of API integrations, cloud platforms, and mobile deployment workflows;
• A technical background (previous experience as a Developer or QA Engineer) is a strong plus, helping you better understand implementation challenges and communicate effectively with the engineering team;
• An "unofficial bachelor's degree in problem-solving" — whether self-taught or earned through experience, you know how to think on your feet and find the most effective solutions;
• Ability to motivate and guide teams to work together efficiently and achieve a common purpose.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure the successful delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget;
• Lead Agile project delivery — implement Scrum, facilitate ceremonies (Daily, Planning, Review, Retro, Refinements), and guide the team toward effective collaboration and continuous improvement;
• Oversee all project stages, including active pre-sales involvement (including defining effort estimates, delivery timelines, quoting, risk assessment);
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring proper task definition, assignment, and alignment with client goals;
• Monitor progress on planned scope and proactively support the team in removing blockers;
• Identify and communicate risks transparently, ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders;
• Support clients in defining product roadmaps and release strategies, keeping in mind goals, resources, and timelines;
• Document product requirements/specifications in detail for delivery teams;
• Contribute to Statements of Work (SOWs) and other project documentation for clients;
• Support administrative tasks related to invoicing, timesheet review, and workforce planning;
• Educate clients and internal teams (incl. more junior team members) on Agile principles, dev cycles, and delivery expectations.

• Hybrid (Cluj-Napoca based) – This role combines remote work with on-site collaboration at our Cluj-Napoca HQ, depending on project and team needs. Candidates must be based in Cluj-Napoca.
