Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated 
Tooling Coordinator
 to manage all aspects of tooling operations, including inventory, maintenance, procurement, and scheduling. This role has a direct impact on supporting production and engineering activities by ensuring that tools and equipment are available, in optimal condition, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the design, development, and acquisition of new tools and fixtures.
  • Manage and maintain tooling inventory to ensure availability and efficiency.
  • Inspect and evaluate the condition and performance of existing tooling.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve tooling-related issues.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to procure high-quality tooling materials.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for tooling equipment.
  • Analyze production data and provide recommendations for process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed reports on tooling performance and maintenance activities.
  • Assist with calibration and testing of tooling equipment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Experience with CAD software and tooling design.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in tooling coordination or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good understanding of tooling maintenance and repair.
