Proposal Specialist with German

We are hiring a Proposal Specialist with German to join our Customer Led Sell Team Are you ready to make a real impact by shaping how customers experience Steelcase? This is a unique opportunity to join a customer-centric team that supports our sales organization by translating insights into persuasive proposals and presentations. You'll work closely with internal departments, directly with the sales team, and occasionally with clients—playing a key role in winning major business opportunities.

Who You Are:

You are a strategic and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in sales, marketing, or project management. You understand how products work and how to communicate their value clearly and persuasively. You thrive in collaborative environments and are fluent in both German and English.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, Business, Marketing, or a technical field
• 3–5 years of experience in project/program management; proposal management experience is a plus
• 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or sales support functions
• Fluent in German (C1 level); English proficiency is required

Desired Skills and Experience

• High proficiency in proposal management principles and practices
• In-depth knowledge of the sales process and general business acumen
• Strong project management skills: organization, scheduling, communication, and execution
• Ability to contribute to sales and proposal strategy development
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams under tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and results-driven mindset
• Technical understanding of product functionality (not necessarily furniture-specific)

What You Will Be Doing:

• Lead the proposal and presentation process for complex sales opportunities
• Collaborate with sales, designers, and subject matter experts to develop compelling content
• Manage timelines and ensure timely delivery of branded materials
• Maintain Salesforce (CRM) data and proposal documentation
• Continuously improve proposal processes and capture key learnings
