We're looking for a DevOps Engineer with a foundational understanding of software development to join our VEFT Execution team in Cluj-Napoca. If you're passionate about managing and optimizing DevOps processes while having a basic grasp of development concepts, this role is for you

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment and integration.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and infrastructure to streamline deployment processes.
• Write and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and configuration management.
• Implement and uphold security best practices in deployment and infrastructure management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a DevOps role or similar position.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• 1+ years of experience with container technologies, including EKS, Kubernetes and Helm, web servers, proxies, and load balancers.
• Hands-on experience managing AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.).
• Experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Gitlab CI)
• Basic knowledge of software development practices and programming languages.
• Basic understanding of programming languages such as Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages, and software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Self-motivated, good at working both independently and as part of a team
