As an
L3 Network Engineer – VPN & Business Partner Access
you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing secure network infrastructure with a primary focus on VPN gateways, firewalls, and business partner access tools. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant access solutions. This role blends operational stability with a forward-looking DevOps and agile mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage VPN gateways, firewalls, load balancers, MS Guest Accounts, and Site-to-Site tunnels
  • Handle 3rd level IT tickets and ensure timely resolution
  • Drive escalations and coordinate with internal teams and external providers
  • Maintain and document network configurations, changes, and procedures
  • Conduct hardware patching and ensure continuous monitoring, backup, and restore operations
  • Administer BPAT portal and custom access tools
  • Support customers with process improvements, training, and usability
  • Perform feasibility studies, IT concepts, vendor evaluations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Education in IT or network engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and network infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of VPN technologies, firewall configuration, and Site-to-Site tunnels
  • Experience with MS Guest Accounts and BPAT Tool
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and issue diagnostics
  • Ability to manage complex incidents and provide expert support
  • Experience in automation (Ansible, Terraform) is a plus
  • Good command of English and strong intercultural communication skills
  • Understanding of IT compliance and data security
  • Knowledge of ITSM, agile frameworks, and DevOps practices is an advantage
  • Preferred certifications: CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
