As a SCADA Systems Specialist, you will:
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SCADA and DMS systems, particularly GE e-terra platforms.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues across various components, ensuring high availability and performance of operational systems.
  • Model and configure electrical devices and system parameters to ensure accurate real-time grid representation.
  • Provide hands-on support for Storm Assist, Outage Assist, and SCADA integrations with Power Systems tools.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, including NERC CIP regulations.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 5+ years of experience working with SCADA and e-terra platforms in power utilities or energy systems.
  • Proven expertise in installing and analyzing e-terra DMS and EMS products.
  • Solid experience in modeling electrical devices and handling real-time data integrations.
  • In-depth understanding of transmission and distribution networks and their SCADA requirements.
You Should Possess the Ability To:
  • Troubleshoot complex issues using various diagnostic tools and methodologies.
  • Navigate TCP/IP networks, perform IP configuration, and address network-related issues.
  • Work effectively with Active Directory, LAN/DNS, and firewall systems.
  • Operate independently while contributing to team goals and customer support expectations.
