As an EMS/SCADA Systems Specialist, you will:
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Energy Management Systems (EMS) and SCADA platforms, specifically the eTerra suite including Outage Assist and Storm Assist.
  • Perform detailed diagnostics and support activities related to customer-specific customizations, AEMS, and SUV testing.
  • Model and configure electrical devices within the EMS environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure optimal grid management and system uptime.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 5+ years of experience in implementing and supporting EMS platforms including SCADA, AEMS, and eTerra-based solutions.
  • Proven hands-on expertise in installing, analyzing, and troubleshooting eTerra DMS and EMS components.
  • Familiarity with SCADA and modeling tools, and solid experience with both Transmission and Distribution electrical grid configurations.
  • Proficiency in working with TCP/IP protocols, routing, IP addressing, LAN, DNS, Active Directory, and firewall configurations.
  • Working knowledge of industry standards, including NERC CIP compliance.
  • Strong communication skills in English (mandatory).
You Should Possess the Ability To:
  • Diagnose and resolve advanced system-level and integration issues.
  • Independently manage and deliver EMS configuration, enhancement, and testing assignments.
  • Use technical tools to simulate, analyze, and optimize grid management and control system performance.
  • Interpret and model complex electrical device topologies accurately.
