The Role: Java Developer

The Team: ClariFI is a platform for constructing, testing, and deploying quantitative equity strategies, used by Investment Management professionals across the globe. As part of the team, you will be working with a variety of languages and platforms but primarily focusing on Java.

The Impact:

• Design, implement, test, and maintain Java code for importing and processing financial data in a distributed computing cluster

• Design, implement and test web services APIs for accessing the data and performing calculations.

• Work directly with business analysts and product specialists to refine requirements and design solutions

• Collaborate with QA to resolve issues found in testing

What We're Looking For:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and skills
• Strong academic background and problem-solving skills
• Java proficiency, 3+ years

It's a plus if you also have:

• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Web UI or any frontend framework
• Experience with Apache Ignite or similar distributed calculation systems
• Experience with Container orchestration systems
• Interest and experience in finance
